Description:

Hot dipped galvanized steel pipes are usually the black steel pipes with hot-dip galvanization progressing. It is the process of coating steel pipes with zinc, which alloys with the surface of the base with one coating zinc layer, usually dull grey, fairly strong material that protects the steel underneath from further corrosion in many circumstances. Galvanized pipe is widely used in applications where corrosion resistance is needed without the cost of stainless steel, and it is considered superior in terms of cost and life-cycle.

There are two types of galvanization for the galvanized pipes, one type(most common) is blowing zinc coating, usually for the sizes 8” and blow, zinc coating 30-35μ and other type is called hanging galvanization usually for the big sizes 10” and above and other pipe fitting products, zinc coating higher by 60-80μ.

3, Length: Standard & stock by 6meters, 4.5 to 12meters can be customized, also depends on and limited by the sizes and thickness of the pipes.

4, Production standard: GB/T3091, ASTM A53，ASTM A795，BS1387，BS1139，BS EN39，EN10217，EN10219，DIN2555，API 5L etc.

5, Application: low pressure fluid transmission, greenhouse, scaffolding, fencing, construction steel frames etc.

6, Secondary progressing: Threading and coupling(NPT and BS), marking by color & printed letters, plastic woven sheet wrapping, beveling, welded seam removing( internal welded seam), pipe fitting welding, drilling, grooving etc.
