EN10219 spiral welded pipe is used for welded structure hollow sections. Spiral welded pipe with spiral welded seam by double submerged arc welding to form the steel plates/coils into one pipe. Compare to EN10219 ERW/LSAW/seamless pipes the advantage is the low products cost and high Material yield, with the large diameter and longer extent. EN10219 spiral welded pipe all the welded seams are 100% tested by X-ray. Hydrostatic test is not necessary due to the application of structural purpose.
